With 20 years of legal practice in the Tampa Bay area, he graduated from USF in 1993 with a degree in History and a minor in Psychology and earned his law degree from Mercer School of Law in 1996. In 1997, he worked as an Assistant State Attorney, where he handled approximately 90 trials and numerous motions and hearings. He joined Frazer, Hubbard, et al in 2001, honing his skills in civil and municipal law while interacting with local officials. In 2004, he established his own practice, now partnered with a major personal injury firm, and has also taught various legal subjects at the University of Phoenix and Everglades University since 2001.
