Joseph Gurian

Joseph Gurian is the principal attorney at the Gurian Group, a law firm specializing in immigration, criminal law, estate planning, and probate. An alumnus of Florida International University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University, Joseph was motivated to pursue immigration law after seeing his great grandfather’s name on a Holocaust memorial. His family fled persecution in Poland and a dictatorship in Cuba, and Joseph now dedicates his practice to helping immigrant families stay together and build their futures in the U.S. Since founding the Gurian Group, Joseph has secured several notable victories, including helping individuals remain in the U.S. and assisting young immigrants under the President’s Student Deferment Policy. His expertise encompasses a range of immigration matters, including asylum, bond hearings, and adjustment of status.
