Jeremy McLymont

Jeremy, a native of Tampa, Florida, graduated from Alonso High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of South Florida in 2015. He began focusing on criminal law while interning at the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office in 2013. After completing his undergraduate studies, Jeremy obtained his law degree from Florida International University College of Law. During law school, he interned at the Public Defender Services for Washington DC and the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office, working on both felony and misdemeanor cases.

Following the bar exam, Jeremy worked for two years as a trial attorney at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office, representing indigent clients facing felony charges. His responsibilities included filing constitutional motions, taking depositions, trying cases, and negotiating plea agreements. Jeremy is dedicated to defending those who cannot defend themselves and is committed to seeing every case through to its conclusion.
