Ernest L. Chang is a seasoned Criminal Defense Trial Lawyer, practicing exclusively in this field since his admission to the Florida Bar in 1990. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida and a Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University. Mr. Chang has litigated over two hundred jury trials, including Capital 1st Degree Death Penalty cases, and has handled thousands of criminal cases throughout his career. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (FACDL) and is a recognized firearms expert, having lectured at seminars and served as an expert witness. Additionally, his past experiences include roles as a Certified Legal Intern with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office and as a Public Defender with the 18th Judicial Circuit.
