Alex Hernandez is currently the Director of Sports and Entertainment Banking for IBERIABANK Sports and Entertainment. Responsible for the Banks National growth within key markets where the Bank operates today. Previous to IBERIABANK Sports and Entertainment, Hernandez served as Senior Vice President within Sabadell United Bank Private Wealth Management Group in the Miami-Dade market. Throughout his career, Hernandez has assisted business entrepreneurs, business professionals, entertainers and sports professionals successfully achieve their financial goals by providing expert knowledge delivered with a high personal touch. A Miami native, music professional and banker for nearly 30 years, Hernandez began his professional career at Bank of America where he worked for 13 years. Hernandez held several positions at Bank of America within the Private Client Group and later joined Regions Bank as Vice President in their Wealth Management Private Client Group. Prior to joining IBERIABANK, Alex served as Market Executive at SunTrust Bank, N.A., where he played an important role in establishing their Sports and Entertainment Banking Group in South Florida. This group, based in Nashville’s music row, managed high-profile song writers, producers, and entertainers in various genres within the music industry. At IBERIABANK, Hernandez continues to assist business professionals, high-profile entertainers, and sports professionals with their financial needs. Hernandez has been with IBERIABANK for 10 years and has been recognized for being one of the bank’s top performers year after year. Hernandez is an active member of the community where he was raised, serving as an advisory member to several boards including the South Florida Association of Financial Professionals and the Boy Scouts of America South Florida Council, an organization he has been involved with for over 30 years.
